Founding Ellsworth Systems
Ellsworth Systems was founded in 1987 and began selling a wide range of financial products to banks, credit unions and retailers. From its inception, Ellsworth Systems has worked to create a company culture focused on growth, providing opportunities for our employees to succeed, all the while remaining attentive to the specifics of our customer’s needs. Ellsworth Systems began to see the greatest expansion when we customized depot work for NCR, by servicing Walmart with financial products to fulfill their requests. In August of 2001, Ellsworth Systems was purchased by our current majority ownership group, along with two other investment partners. Ellsworth Systems list of accomplishments began to see a sizable transformation when a year later, we became the Reis EuroSystems exclusive U.S. Importer. In 2004, our Depot operations achieved Six Sigma status, which is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any processes. This certification ensures our daily work is measured under a microscope until it achieves as near perfection as possible. In 2009, Ellsworth Systems moved into our present location in Franklin, TN, and in 2010, we were named the top Wincor Nixdorf dealer in the U.S. 2014 saw Ellsworth Systems recognized as the Dealer of the Year for Diebold. Two years later, ESI signed the Diebold Authorization Reseller Agreement for AL, AR, GA, MS, MO, TN, and TX.
Ellsworth Systems Expansion
With staff having quadrupled in size, Ellsworth moved toward rebranding in 2018 and cemented a new vendor partnership agreement with NCR, as a Global Partner. Our corporate culture remains inspired to continue to attain success while remaining consistently customer focused and providing innovative products to meet our customers’ needs. Moving forward, we have a clear vision aligning our Company’s vision and mission statements to support established principles and goals. Ellsworth Systems sees a horizon filled with possibility, gratitude and disciplined consistency.

As we head into 2020, our desire remains to continue to hire top-notch team members, promote a culture that encourages growth in both our business and employees, while staying customer focused and aligned to our vision.
